Description

Responsible for primary or specialty medical care under the cognizance/supervision of a physician or physician specialist: coordination of patient care; instruction/supervision of other health care personnel; administrative duties as required. Obtain, evaluate, and record medical health histories. Perform physical exams and medical health assessments, order meds, and establish eligibility criteria for clients at the Spring Center. Prescribe medications as delegated by supervising physician. Assist with preparation of health reports, health service financial requirements and budget data. Assist with medical emergencies as required. Attend management meetings. Graduate from accredited PA program and NCCPA examination and current license/certification with the State of Nebraska. Minimum of 2-3 years paid professional experience working in the field of behavioral health and/or substance abuse treatment preferred. Strong verbal and written proficiencies of the English language is required, bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred. Requires CPR and First Aid Training. Prefer applicants to have their own malpractice insurance. Position will remain open until filled.

Willing to work on a per diem basis. We are currently needing several Primary Care Workers to be available on a per diem basis. All shifts available; 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11pm – 7am. These positions are a great opportunity for those who are looking to work in the field of behavioral health in a great facility and earn extra money. Must be willing to work varied shifts and days.
