Region 6 Behavioral Healthcare invited the Policy Research Associates (PRA) to Omaha in November 2017, to conduct a Douglas County-Sequential Intercept Model (SIM) mapping workshop, examining the current practices of how and when individuals intersect with both the criminal justice and behavioral health systems.  PRA facilitators and approximately 40 community stakeholders reviewed available resources and gaps. Potential strategies were identified to better respond to the needs of adults with mental and substance use disorders who come in contact with the criminal justice system.  The full report is available at:  Sequential Intercept Model (SIM) Mapping Report – Douglas County
