Crisis Stabilization Program The Spring Center is a 10 bed voluntary psychiatric crisis stabilization program serving adults, age 19 and over, from the Region 6 area who are motivated to receive help for currently experienced crisis mental health symptoms. The Spring Center’s treatment is provided in a supportive and confidential environment which includes the following treatment intervention services: psychiatric evaluation to assess for the possible use of psychotropic medications, one to one daily therapy sessions, group therapy sessions, educational skill building sessions, medication monitoring and upon discharge from the program clients receive referrals to community providers to support their mental health recovery. Phone lines are staffed 24 hours a day, seven days per week, including holidays to offer crisis mobile response coordination, consumer information and referrals and direct access to out-patient mental health assessment services.
Professional Crisis Resource Line Is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to Law Enforcement and Emergency Department personnel, this dedicated telephone line 866/734-8888 or 996-8332 is a direct source of information on bed availability and referral options within Region 6's Behavioral Healthcare system.
Eligibility Eligibility for admission into the program requires you must be over 19 years of age, reside in Cass, Dodge, Douglas, Sarpy or Washington counties, be experiencing a mental health crisis which is not the direct result of being under the influence of substances or alcohol and be voluntarily seeking and requesting treatment support. The Spring Center can not admit someone who has been using alcohol and presents with a BAC of greater than .15.
Cost Cost to the client for services is based on a sliding-fee scale according to guidelines established through the State of Nebraska Health and Human Services. The Spring Center accepts Medicaid and some private insurance. The Spring Center is a Region 6 managed program; no person will be denied services for their inability to pay.
